The Author of Dwelling In The Word
David has been a follower of Christ for many years. He began life as the son of a military father and his mother, along with five siblings. Although it was difficult at times, David's mother and father faithfully provided the needs of the family. Being a military family required the family to relocate many times during David's childhood.
David served twelve years in the military, during which time he met and married his wife. Together David and his wife are blessed with three daughters, who currently live and serve the Lord in the United States and abroad. His three daughters and fine sons-in-law have given David three beautiful grandchildren.
David became a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ while serving in the military and subsequently was called by the Lord out of the military to prepare for serving the Lord in the Gospel Ministry. David has served as a pastor, pastor missionary, and chaplain in several locations and situations. During his ministry David has realized that all who are called to regeneration and life in Christ must dwell in the Holy Bible as the word of a Holy God. David has made many mistakes and has grown through various trials—rejection, false accusations, injustices at the hands of others—which are experiences common to some degree for all followers of Christ. David has also experienced unimaginable blessings, provisions, and joy of the Lord. By God’s grace and reliance upon the Word of God, David knows the faithfulness of the Lord and is maturing in Christlikeness, through both difficult and joyful experiences of life. He confesses his indebtedness to many genuine, loving, and faithful men and women of faith. They teach, confront, rebuke, instruct, and pray for him.
David is excited to offer this blog with prayer, and he invites all who will to experience the joys and blessings of dwelling in the Word of God. May our Lord be praised and glorified in every effort.
